去钟点房到底做什么呢？酒店方面前期还特地做了一个市场调查，客户需求还是比较多样化的，比如家里或者宿舍停电，去小时房洗澡澡；去外地考试，中午去小时房午休；等火车，赶飞机；甚至还有被家务和孩子包围的宝妈，偶尔也会去钟点房“静静”享受一下独处的时光。
毕竟现在与过去有些不一样了，人们的消费水平提高了。虽然钱多了，但是烦恼也多了，所以钱不再是首要问题，在舒适的环境里放松身心成了人们的第一目标。
每次去五星级酒店，房间里面都收拾的挺好。冰箱里有放好饮料酒水，洗手间摆放好毛巾洗漱用品，窗外风景怡人，室内还有一股淡淡的幽香，一切都好。唯独电子秤用不了无显示，这可是个非常重要的细节。
现在不管男生女生，控制体重是大家永不腻烦的课题，冲完澡都会习惯性地上去站一站。酒店为了更好服务客人，还特地准备了电子秤，现在不显示了可是急人。选择五星级酒店的钟点房就是为了享受优质的服务，时间有限，不可能再找酒店方面改善，确实有点扫兴，下次要考虑考虑要不要再次光临。
如果说要解决这个星级酒店众多房间的电子称不显示的问题，到底有什么妙招呢？
其实，我们的酒店工作人员每天都在做标准化的清洁动作，如果用专业的5S标准来规范呢？5S即整理、整顿、清扫、清洁、素养。其中
整理，区分物品的用途，清除多余的东西；
整顿，物品分区放置，明确标识，方便取用；
清扫，清除垃圾和污秽，还要点检并清除设备功能障碍；
清洁，环境洁净制定标准，形成制度；
素养，养成良好习惯，提升人格修养。
所以，酒店工作人员在做第三步清扫动作的时候，一定要点检房间的各个电子电气设备的状态。比如空调、电视、电话、台灯、还有新服务项目电子称。
