China facilitates visa applicants with 10-yr multiple-entry visa

At the current stage, multi-year multiple-entry visas issued before March 26, 2020 are still suspended of use. Spokesman from Chinese embassy in the US said on Friday that the main reason is that many of them are tourist visas, but will adjust according to the development of the pandemic.
If such visa holders need to go to China at this stage, they can apply for a new visa (not for tourism or medical treatment), Chinese embassy will facilitate the application of new visa according to their situation.
