Disney Cruise Line is a cruise line operation that is a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. New vessel's interior design, facilities and cruise itineraries are still in development. What is known so far is that the new liners will be LNG-powered (by liquefied natural gas) and from one series with gross tonnage 144,000 tons (larger than the originally announced 135,000 GT) and passenger capacity 2500 (1250 staterooms). This design will be slightly larger than Disney Dream-Fantasy. In early August 2017 was announced that Disney is looking to buy a second Caribbean private island to be developed as an exclusive port of call for the company's new cruise ships. Project's developer will be the Walt Disney Company subsidiary Disney Parks and Resorts. The plan is for developing a land sized 746 acres (302 hectares / 3 km2) .
