Launched in November 2018, Celebrity Edge was named the 2018 Most Anticipated Cruise ship and really wowed the cruisers and was said to be ‘the  most impressive new ship in years’ when debuting. 

名人邮轮Edge号于2018年11月推出，被评为2018年“zui受期待的邮轮”，确实令游客赞叹不已，并在首次亮相时被评为“多年来zui令人印象深刻的新船”。

Among the new innovations on Celebrity Edge is the newly re-conceptualized verandas. Instead of a standard balcony stateroom, the ship launched with over 500 Infinite Veranda cabins. This new design is aimed at getting cruisers closer to the water by essentially turning the entire room into a balcony with the push of a button. Along with increasing the size of the room by over 20% making the cabin feel extra spacious with tons of natural light coming in, these rooms also have new design elements and technological enhancements.

It’s almost impossible to understate how transformative these staterooms are likely to be for not only this ship but the industry as a whole. (Special kudos to Celebrity for creating solo Infinite Veranda staterooms which are slightly smaller than the double-occupancy version, but also significantly cheaper.)
